Use a product section view to identify the dimensions to include in your enquiry. The letters belong to that drawing; confirm them against the relevant dimension table.

How do I find a standard number?

Enter the standard or part number, such as ASME B16.5 or API 5L. Dots, spaces and hyphens are ignored for matching. Use the category filter to narrow the result.

Which edition should I use?

Use the edition required by your project specification or purchase order. Confirm the edition, units, product scope and notes inside the PDF; a filename alone does not establish suitability.

Are these PDFs a substitute for the applicable standard?

No. Use data sheets and reference documents for preliminary review. The approved project specification and applicable standard govern the order.

Can a weight calculator provide a final shipping weight?

The tools provide geometric or theoretical estimates with stated assumptions. Confirm the actual product configuration, packing and final weight for the order.

What should I send if I cannot find the right reference?

Send the product, standard and edition, material, size, pressure class or wall thickness, quantity and any drawing. Identify the requirement that needs clarification.

Why can a document appear in more than one product category?

Some references apply to several component families. Category overlap helps discovery and does not mean the files describe identical products or requirements.

Does a date in a file name prove the applicable edition?

No. Open the PDF and check its title, edition, scope and units against your project documents. File names are an index, not approval of a standard edition.

What should I do if I cannot find the required reference?

Send the exact document or standard designation, required edition and product details with your enquiry. Do not substitute a similarly named document without checking its scope.

Can calculator results replace an approved drawing or material list?

No. The tools provide estimates using their stated inputs and assumptions. Confirm procurement quantities and final technical requirements using approved project documents.
