LeKe Piping / Technical calculator
Pipe reducer
weight calculator
Estimate the theoretical weight of concentric and eccentric pipe reducers. Select both end sizes, enter wall thickness and overall length, and inspect the live 3D shape.
Set reducer dimensions
Outside diameters follow the selected nominal pipe sizes. Enter the actual overall length from your drawing.
Estimated weight
For one reducer and the selected quantity.
Drag in any direction to rotate. The model follows the selected size, wall, length and reducer type.
Calculation method
Weight (kg) = [(large OD + small OD) / 2 − t] × t × K × L / 1000. OD, wall thickness t and overall length L are in millimetres. K is the selected material factor.
This is a theoretical constant-wall estimate with equal straight-end lengths and a symmetric smooth transition. Concentric and eccentric reducers of the same end diameters, wall and length have the same calculated volume. Forming may change local thickness, and actual reducers may use different end lengths or profiles; confirm final weight against the production drawing.
Ask us to confirm your order
Send the large and small sizes, reducer type, wall or schedule, overall length, material grade, quantity and destination. We can confirm dimensions and quoted weight.
