How the estimate works
The model adds a constant-wall run shell of length 2C and a branch shell from the run outside surface to the outlet end. Annular cross-section × length × material density gives a planning weight.
ASME B16.9 specifies end diameters and center-to-end dimensions, not the exact formed crotch volume or finished piece mass. The branch blend, forming variation and local thickness are excluded. Confirm shipping weight from the manufacturer before ordering.
