Estimated net weight · one flange—kg / piece · geometric estimate

Raised face height for Class 150: 1.6 mm. It changes with the pressure class.

How the estimate is calculated

Volume of the bored plate ring, less bolt holes, plus a tapered hollow hub and raised face, multiplied by the selected density. The hub is simplified as a conical frustum; fillets, chamfers, machining allowances and manufacturing tolerances are excluded.

Flange O.D., minimum plate thickness, hub base diameter, length through hub and bolt pattern follow ASME B16.5-2003 Tables 7/8, 10/11 and 15/16. The bore follows the supplied weld neck flange I.D. schedule PDF. Hub fillets, weld-end land and chamfers are visual approximations informed by product photos, not controlled B16.5 table dimensions. ASME B16.5-2003 §6.4.1 describes approximately 2 mm (0.06 in.) raised face for Classes 150/300 and 7 mm (0.25 in.) for Class 600; the calculation uses the drawing convention 1.6 mm and 6.4 mm.
