LEKE PIPING / STEEL PIPE SUPPLY

Steel Pipe Supply

API 5L line pipe is a key focus of our steel pipe supply. We also supply other carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel pipe options. Send your standard, grade, dimensions and project requirements for review.

PRIMARY SUPPLY FOCUS

API 5L Line Pipe

Specify the API 5L edition, grade and Product Specification Level (PSL 1 or PSL 2).

Include pipe type, outside diameter, wall thickness, length, delivery condition and end preparation. State any project testing, marking or inspection document requirements.

Documentation is reviewed for the order. Supply to API 5L does not by itself indicate certification or licensing.

BEFORE QUOTATION

A complete steel pipe enquiry.

01

Start with the project specification

State the material grade, governing standard and application; add PSL for line pipe where required.

02

Define the pipe

Include diameter, wall thickness, length and pipe type.

03

Confirm supply conditions

List quantity, end preparation, delivery condition and documentation.

Custom requirements. Custom outside diameters, wall thicknesses, lengths and end preparations can be reviewed against your specification. Send your grade, PSL and dimensional requirements with your RFQ. Primary reference: API 5L for the line-pipe supply focus; confirm grade, PSL and edition.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

Carbon Steel Pipe

For carbon steel pipe requirements outside the API 5L focus above, provide the exact standard and grade. Material and specification are different dimensions; confirm the required pipe type and supply conditions.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Prepare a clearer steel pipe RFQ.

What should I send for a steel pipe enquiry?

Include material grade, standard, pipe type, diameter, wall thickness, length, quantity and inspection documents. For line pipe, include the specified PSL where applicable.

Do you supply other steel pipe?

Yes. This page also covers other carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel pipe requirements. The actual grade and supply scope are confirmed against your enquiry.

Do all pipe materials follow the same standard?

Use the actual governing standard and grade for each pipe item. Do not assume all pipe materials on this page follow the same specification.

Can one enquiry include carbon, stainless and alloy steel pipe?

Yes. Separate the items in the material list and state the actual specification, grade and dimensions for each. Do not apply a line-pipe designation to every material group.

What length and quantity information should I provide?

State the required length per piece, number of pieces or total length, and any acceptable length tolerance. Identify fixed-length or variable-length requirements explicitly.

What information is needed for a coating or end-protection request?

Provide the coating system, surface preparation and inspection requirements, plus the required end protection and packaging. Availability and scope must be confirmed against the enquiry.

Does the weight calculator give the final shipping weight?

No. It estimates pipe material weight from dimensions and density. Coatings, packing, dimensional variation and other shipment items can change the actual shipping weight.

MATERIAL SELECTION

Match the material to the service.

ParameterDetails to confirm
Carbon steel pipeConfirm the service, grade, product standard, manufacturing form, diameter and wall thickness. API 5L line pipe requirements are reviewed in the section above.
Stainless steel pipeState the exact grade, corrosion or cleanliness requirements, surface finish, ends and documentation. Do not specify by stainless appearance alone.
Alloy steel pipeState the alloy grade, service temperature, delivery condition, product standard and any heat-treatment or testing requirements.
Special material requirementsSend the grade, governing specification and approved drawing. Supply availability and manufacturing scope require confirmation.
